Kaylee Beutler is a tattoo artist at Dire Wolf Tattoo Studio in Portland, Oregon. Her current work leans toward bold, illustrative designs with a playful edge, often influenced by her love of cartoons, nostalgia and comic strips. As a first year tattoo artist, Kaylee brings a strong artistic foundation and a thoughtful approach to each piece. Her background in the medical field lends to her fascination in the balance between science, technique and creativity that tattooing requires (a subject that she loves info-dumping about!)
Kaylee has a knack for collaborating with clients to create pieces that balance imagination with detail, and she loves the challenge of tackling different styles and techniques to bring her clients' ideas to life. She is always down for "silly goofy" ideas, and is also interested in exploring more realism and nature/science-inspired work as her portfolio grows.
In her spare time, Kaylee enjoys sketching, snuggling with her cats and adding unhinged characters to whatever dnd campaign her friends are running.
